Betty Dolores Street

January 1, 1930 - December 13, 2024

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our wonderful Mom.

On December 13, 2024, Betty passed away peacefully and is now united with the love of her life, her husband "Red".

She has left countless memories of love and laughter to us her beloved children, Deborah (Donald) Sheaffer, Richard (Julie), and Robert (Sharon) and to her Grandchildren, Ryan (Alysia) Sheaffer, Katherine (Steve) Hatley, Robert (Paige) Street, Holly (James) McGee, Natalie (Lee) Frittenburg, and Kurtis Street and Great Grandchildren, Alivia, Rylee, Whit, Wrenn, Grace, Avery, Lucia, Annie and Veronica. She is survived by her sisters Connie Woodward and Arlene (Jerry) Struble and predeceased by her brothers-in-law Roger Woodward and Harold Kehoe and Sisters-in-law Doris Kehoe.

Betty with her parents and sisters moved to Ontario after her parents purchased Rostrevor Resort on Lake Rosseau and later The Birchmere and expanded it into a lovely hotel.

When Betty and Red married they became 3rd Generation of Street's Flower Shop. They made many lifelong friends through Y's Men Y's Menette clubs, Orillia Figure Skating Club and St. James Church. In their retirement they returned to Cape Breton Island and spent many amazing years there.

In respecting Mom's wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family gathering will be held at a later date.

We are very grateful for the kind and gentle care Mom received from the staff of the Leacock Care Centre.

Please consider a donation to Soldiers' Memorial Hospital or to the Alzheimer Society of Simcoe County. Donations may be made through the Mundell Funeral Home.
