Bruce E. Strong

August 24, 1945 - December 31, 2024

Bruce peacefully passed away on December 31, 2024 at Mariposa House Hospice, surrounded by his loving family. Bruce is survived by his wife Pat, brother Tom (Ev), daughter Renay (Chris), son Steve (Sara), stepdaughter Brandi (Quinn), his grandchildren Tyler, Haley, Caleb and Grace and great grandson Ethan. Bruce’s joy in life was his family. His many interests included time in or on the water as well as hockey, golf, tennis and spending winters at his home in Florida.

His family would like to express their deepest gratitude to Mariposa House Hospice for their compassionate care and support during this difficult time. Their kindness and dedication will forever be appreciated. 

Arrangements have been entrusted with Mundell Funeral Home, 79 West Street North, Orillia. Cremation has taken place. A private ceremony will be held at St. Andrew's-St. James' Cemetery, 320 Coldwater Road West, Orillia, at a later date.

In honour of Bruce’s memory, donations to Mariposa House Hospice would be greatly appreciated.

Bruce’s warmth and love will forever remain in our hearts. He will be greatly missed.
