Passed away at Soldiers Memorial Hospital, Orillia on Friday 9, 2023 at the age of 75. Cathy, beloved wife of Peter Schlaich. Loving mother of Jon (Stacy) of Ayr, Madeline of Orillia, Lisa (Fisseha) of Bradford. Proud grandmother of Rylie, Carlyn, Desmond, Danika, Kalkidan, Ezana, Blaine and Robel. Dear sister of John Hinton (Nancy), Richard Hinton, Paul Hinton (Cathie) and Theresa Marion (Paul). Loved daughter in law of Fred and Maria Schlaich. Fondly remembered by brother in law Ernie (Marianne). Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Cathy loved life and felt blessed no matter the circumstances. She loved her family with her whole heart. Following cremation, Mass of Christian Burial will be held at the Church of the Guardian Angels, 115 West St. N., Orillia on Thursday June 15, 2023 at 2 PM.
