Charles Francis "Charlie" Horne

Passed away peacefully on March 19th, 2025, at the age of 84, surrounded by the love of his family at Soldiers' Memorial Hospital in Orillia.

Charlie was the devoted husband and best friend of Phyllis (nee Campbell), with whom he shared many beautiful years. He leaves behind his cherished brother, Don (Grace, predeceased) and dear sister Laurene. Predeceased by siblings: Bill (Anne), Jean Ann Stachow (Jerry), and Garnet (Carmel). A loved brother-in-law to Robert (Carolyn), Jim (Sheila), and Dave (Jim, predeceased). Charlie was also a treasured uncle to many nieces and nephews, each of whom held a special place in his heart.

Charlie’s roots were in his farming background, where he took great pride in hard work and a love for the land. He was always ready for a country road adventure, enjoying the simple pleasures that life offered, whether it was a scenic drive or a good old game of euchre.
