On this God given day, Saturday, December 14th, 2024, Cynthia (Cindy) Schultz (nee Hotham) has been welcomed by the Lord in his loving arms. Her battle with schizophrenia has come to an end and she is now free of pain and hardship. Finally, she is where she can rest and be at peace.
Survived by her daughters Melissa Schultz (Alexander Kidd) and Katelynn Schultz (Sijy Varghese), her brother Wayne Hotham (Deborah) brother-in-law Larry Janzen, and her grandson James Kidd. Predeceased by her parents Edward and Shirley Hotham and her sister Kim Janzen. Fondly remembered by her nieces and nephews, former husband and father of her children Kevin Schultz. Also remembered by her dear friend Louise (Ivan) Downey and family who supported her through many hardships
Cindy had a wonderful, sweet personality and devoted herself to her children and the Lord. Her faith guided her through her life, and she was a devout member of Salvation Army in London, Calgary, Oshawa, and Orillia.
"And the dust returns to the ground it came from, and the spirit returns to God who gave it" (Ecclesiastes 12:7)
Arrangements have been entrusted with Mundell Funeral Home, 79 West Street North, Orillia. Cremation to take place. Cindy will rest in the Mount Pleasant Cemetery in London, Ontario. Donations may be made on behalf of Cindy to Orillia Soldiers' Memorial Hospital, Ontario Shores Foundation for Mental Health, and Salvation Army.
