Daniel "Dan" Wadsworth

Loving husband to Annie Wadsworth (nee Binet) for 21 years. Devoted father of DeeAnna, Alycia, Olivia, Marissa and William. Treasured son of Doris Wadsworth (nee Knights) and the late Gordon Wadsworth. Dear brother to Janice Edwardson, Jackie Torrie (Scott) and Joanne Chantler (David). Uncle to Samantha Kennedy (Zack), Nathan Edwardson (Rhianna), Paige Blackman (Will), Jeslyn Chantler (Dean), Victoria Edwardson, Lyam Chantler (Halle). Great uncle to Logan Kennedy.

Dan passed away peacefully at Mariposa House Hospice on Monday December 9th, 2024 at the age of 45 with Annie by his side.

He will be dearly missed by family and friends, his church communities (Emmanuel Orillia & Emmanuel Barrie), Orillia Christian School community, co-workers and teammates (baseball, ball hockey & golf).

Dan fought a long battle with cancer and has impacted many. His family is extremely proud of him. He persevered with strength and faith, never giving up on his hope for a miracle. Dan received his miracle of perfect healing and is now Home with his Heavenly Father.

Visitations will be held at Mundell Funeral Home, 79 West Street North, Orillia, on Friday, December 13th from 3-5 and 7-9pm. A celebration of Dan’s life will be taking place at Emmanuel Baptist Church Barrie on Saturday December 14th at 1pm, with a reception to follow. A private family burial will take place at St. Andrew's - St. James' Cemetery, 320 Coldwater Road West, Orillia.
