BETHUNE, David Donald
April 19, 2000 to August 3, 2019

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our son, brother and friend, Dave Bethune, on Saturday, August 3, 2019 at the age of 19.  Dave is survived by his proud parents Brad and Vera Bethune, his loving brother John Bethune, and “Dave’s Foster Family”.  He will be forever remembered and always missed by all who knew and loved him.  Through the support of Dave’s Foster Family and his Personal Support People, Dave was able to have an active, joyful and self-expressive life.  He participated in gymnastics and horseback-riding, and was always invited back to his passion; food-related social events, which Dave enjoyed immensely.  Dave was non-verbal, and so had many faces and facets, which he used to express himself.  That was his “Voice’, and for those who could ‘listen’, he taught us how to look at things differently.  Please join the Families in Celebrating Dave’s life at the Mundell Funeral Home, 79 West St. N., Orillia, on Friday, August 23rd from 2 - 5 pm.  If desired, Memorial Donations to Catulpa Community Support Services - The Margaret Gallow Client Unmet Needs Fund or to  the Lions Foundation of Canada Dog Guides would be gratefully appreciated.  Messages of condolences are welcome at www.mundellfuneralhome.com
