Donald Earl Archer

Passed away at home surrounded by his family, at the age of 85. Survived by his beloved wife and best friend of 62 years Margaret (nee: Anderson). Loved father and friend to his three boys, Bruce (Nancy), Glenn (Pam) and Brent (Julie). Cherished grandpa of Victoria, Jeffrey, Ali, Megan, Kirsten, Kali, Haili, Shea, Riley, Liam and proud great grandpa of Lucas, Tessa, Quinn, Bennett, Coulson, Grayson, Sawyer, Rey, Miller, and Baby Weston who we look forward to meeting soon. Predeceased by his sisters, Shirley (Jim) and Faye (Lawrence). He will be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. 

Don's most treasured and joyful moments in life were spent with his family, making memories, and telling jokes. When Don was not spending time with his family, he could be found enjoying his hobbies gardening and fishing.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 21st from 5 - 8 p.m. at the Mundell Funeral Home and on Friday, November 22nd from 12:30 p.m. until time of Funeral Service at 1:30 p.m. at the St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, 99 Peter St. N., Orillia. Cremation to follow. If desired, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, Orillia would be appreciated.
