Peacefully surrounded  by her family, after a battle with cancer, at home, Washago, on Tuesday, December 13, 2022, at the age of 78 years.  Evelyn, beloved wife and best friend of Kenneth "Ken" Burd for 62 years and will be surly missed  by her beloved puppy Kiera.  Loving mother of Brian (Cathy Reczetar) of Peterborough and Sandra MacKenzie-Johnston (Terry) of Gravenhurst. Cherished grandmother of Nick (Samantha), Krystal (Phil), Mike (Jana), Jessica, Courtney, Johnna, Morgan (Jake) and her 8 great grandchildren.   Dear sister of Diane (John) LaBlanc of Brampton and Susan (Raymond) Lachapelle of Ville-Marie, Quebec.  Evelyn is predeceased by her 2 great grandchildren and her siblings Jeannette, Ray, Jackie & Richard.  Survived by her many nieces, nephews and their families.  A Special Thanks to ; RVH Cancer Centre, Dr. Anthony Reid and the Bayshore Team.  Cremation to take place.  A Celebration of Life will take place early in the New Year.  If desired, memorial donations to the Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre - Odette Program would be appreciated.  Messages of condolence are welcomed at www.mundellfuneralhome.com
