Passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Monday January 24, 2022 at the age of 75. Gayle, beloved wife of the late Paul O'Connell. Loving mother of Cheryl O'Connell of Hamilton, Sean O'Connell (Patti Colontino) of Hamilton and Tim O'Connell (Meaghen) of Oro Medonte. Cherished Nana of Shannon O'Connell (Joe Brown) of Hamilton, Shea O'Connell (Keith Russell) of Orillia, Andrew & Elizabeth O'Connell of Hamilton and  Kiera, Mallory & Thomas O'Connell of Oro Medonte. Proud great grandma of Penny. Dear sister of Joe Duffy (Leslie Beagrie) and Gary Duffy (Bev). Sadly missed by the O'Connell family and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at the Mundell Funeral Home, 79 West St. N., Orillia, on Friday January 28, 2022 from 6 - 8 PM and on Saturday from 12 noon until 1 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Columbkille's Roman Catholic Church, Uptergrove on Saturday January 29, 2022 at 2 PM. Cremation to follow.
