Passed away peacefully at Champlain Manor, Orillia with family by his side on Sunday February 23, 2025 at the age of 94. Clarence of Orillia, husband of Birdie Canning (nee Burnett). Loving father of Lorne (Gail) of Severn Bridge, Carl of BC, Heather Dingwall of Orillia, Keith (Charlene) of Orillia, Karen (Tim) Marriott of Orillia, Phillip (Barb) of Minesing, Morris of Orillia, Barry (Karen) of Orillia and George (predeceased). Loved grandfather of Crystal (Peter), Chad (Emily), Brent, Alicia, Matthew (Yvonne), Laura, Amanda (Michael), Cassandra (Ethan), Bridgette and Travis. Cherished great grandfather of Alex, Evie and Adrian. Visitation will be held at the Mundell Funeral Home, 79 West St. N., Orillia on Tuesday March 4, 2025 from 2 PM - 4 PM & 6 PM - 8PM. Private family interment will be held in the spring at Bethel Cemetery, Gravenhurst. If desired, memorial donations t the Soldiers' Memorial Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
