Isabel "Bel" Marie Wolstenholme

Isabel (Bel) Marie Wolstenholme (nee Jones) 

passed away peacefully on February 10th at Trillium Manor, Orillia. A beautiful life well-lived, encompassing and embracing a world of changes and challenges throughout her 94 years on this earth. 

Bel was born on October 6, 1930 in Copenhagen, Ontario. She travelled and lived in a variety of areas throughout Ontario and the United States starting with her childhood in Bracebridge and ending in Orillia. 

Predeceased by husbands John Sanford (1969) and Ray Wolstenholme (2007); parents David and Gunhild Jones; siblings Eric (Eleanor) Jones; Midge (George) McIntosh; Edith (Doug) Belton; Amos (Shirley) Jones; Alice (Bill) Seymour. 

Survived by Alice’s husband, Bill Seymour; cherished Aunt of Lorie (Bob) Wild; Susan Seymour; Leah (John) Cavanaugh; Peter (Anne Marie) Seymour; Joel (Terri) Seymour; Kim (Brenda) Belton; Sandi (Greg) MacDonald; Ricky (Cathy) Jones, Debbie (Larry) Johnson and an abundance of great-nieces and great-nephews. 

“Special Aunt” to Isabella “Izzy” the cat, in keeping with her love of animals. 

Long time family friend of Marlene VanRiesen and her daughter Chris. 

Heartfelt thanks to the staff a Trillium Manor for the exceptional and respectful care they gave to Bel.
