On Saturday, September 23, 2023, at the age of 83, Jacquie, passed away peacefully at Soldier’s Memorial Hospital, with her beloved husband and loving daughter by her side.  Jacquie was a good wife and mother, “Life’s work well done”.  Married to Gord for 63 years and best friend for 68 years.  Jacquie was the extremely proud mother of Andrew (Petra), Trevor (predeceased), and Shannon (Mario), and is fondly remembered by daughter-in-law, Deborah.  She had 8 grandchildren, and will be sadly missed by Brendan (Mandi Lyn), Travis (Jamie), Dana, Zachary, Michaela and Victoria, as well as 3 great-grandchildren, Ripley, Ruby and Violet. Parish Prayers will be held at Mundell Funeral Home, 79 West St. N., Orillia Wednesday, September 27, 2023  at  5:45 PM followed by visitation  from 6 - 9 PM.  Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Francis of Assisi Church, Washago on Thursday, September 28, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. Reception to follow at the church.  Interment will be at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Black River.  Our family would like to thank the medical staff and volunteers, especially in palliative care, at Soldier’s Memorial Hospital for their care and compassion.  Donations can be made to SMH Foundation or a charity of your choice.
