Joan Carmen Rabbitts

December 6, 1943 - March 5, 2025

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Joan Carmen Rabbitts on March 5, 2025, at Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital at the age of 81. Daughter of the late Leonard and Vera (nee Whittingham) Rabbitts. Predeceased by brother Ross (2022).

Joan attended ODCVI and worked for Ontario Hydro for a number of years. She found her way back to Orillia in 1998 after retiring. Joan had special relationships with her many friends, whom she considered her family, particularly her honourary grandchildren Jamie and Jordan Tulipano. Joan’s sharp wit and sassy sense of humour will be dearly missed by all those who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Mundell Funeral Home, 79 West Street North, Orillia. A graveside ceremony will be held at St. Andrew’s - St. James’ Cemetery, 320 Coldwater Road West, Orillia on Saturday, June 7th 2025 @ 11AM . A luncheon will follow at the Mundell Funeral Home for a time to share memories and refreshments.
