Passed away at home on Sunday, August 6, 2023 at the age of 88. Rodger, beloved son of the late Alfred and Georgina "Tam" Hope-Smith. Loving brother of Page Hope-Smith (predeceased), Stan Hope-Smith (Judith) and Tillie McMillan (Maurice). Loved uncle of Kay Hope-Smith (predeceased), Kim Marshall (Chris), Wendi Al-Ma'aytah, Blake Hope-Smith, Tammy Wilson (Jim), Megan MacDonald (Stewart), Page Kennedy (David) and Erin McWhirter (James). Great uncle of Tyler, Catherine & Jacob Marshall, Omar & Ali Al-Ma'aytah, Matilda, Duncan, Molly & Carole Wilson, Atticus & Phynn Kennedy and Megan, Brian & Esson McWhirter. Following cremation, visitation will be held at Mundell Funeral Home, 79 West St. N., Orillia on Monday August 14, 2023 from 10 AM until time of Memorial Service at 11 AM. There will be a reception at Washago Community Centre from 1:30 to 3:30 for those who would like to attend. If desired, memorial donations to The Lighthouse Shelter would be appreciated.
