Jonathan Bruce Tackey

Tackey; Jonathan Bruce

Passed away on Thursday, September 5, 2024 at the age of 60 years. Jon

was the loving father of Rebecca Tackey of Sebringville, and was the

proud grandfather of Wyatt. Jon is survived by his parents, Raymond &

Josephine Tackey, of Oakville. He was the cherished brother of Paul

Tackey (Brenda) of Caledonia, and Heather Piechocki (Jerry) of

Brighton. Jon was the loved uncle of Benjamin (predeceased) and

Elizabeth Tackey, and of Melanie, Joanna, and Jared Schawill. He will

be sadly missed by many friends, and in particular, his dear friends

Kevin and Glenna Joyce. At Jon's request, there will be no visitation

or service. The family wishes to thank all of the health care

professionals who cared for Jon both at home and at Orillia Soldiers'

Memorial Hospital. Arrangements entrusted to the Mundell Funeral Home.
