Salmon, Margaret Joan (nee Smith)
Passed away peacefully at Birchmere Retirement Residence on May 22, 2023 at the age of 82. Margaret was born in Hamilton on November 22, 1940. Beloved wife of John Salmon. Loving mother of Jay (predeceased), Patrick (Janis), Kim (Randy), Tammy (Gates), Michelle and Joseph (both predeceased). Cherished grandmother of Darren, Keith, Matthew, Luc, Shayne, Cole, Meagan, Amber, Chad, Katie, Joey, Melissa, Tamara, Tia and Shelby (predeceased). Proud great grandmother of many whom she loved deeply. Sister of the late Betty, Raymond, George and Kenny.
Our mother the strong woman, did everything with a good heart expecting nothing in return. Your happiness was hers. She dedicated all her love and energy to family giving selflessly and whole heartedly. She was courageous when things looked hopeless. She was an example of generosity, strength, kindness and everything that is right in this world. She will be sadly missed from those she touched in this life and forever in our hearts.
Visitation will be held at the Mundell Funeral Home, 79 West St. N., Orillia on Friday May 26, 2023 from 2 PM until time of Funeral Service at 4 PM. Cremation to follow.
