Murray Bell
May 24, 1947 - August 18, 2020 (age 73)

Sadly announcing the sudden passing of Murray Bell on August 18, 2020. Dad was proud of his more than 25 years of service with the OPP, starting in Toronto and eventually relocating to Orillia. He enjoyed time on the open road, wheel in his hands, headed across Canada or to favourite spots in the US, including Tennessee and Georgia. His favourite place in the world, however, was his cottage in Muskoka where he could be found working on projects, listening to Hank Williams, or enjoying a quiet beer on the deck. Dad was a kind and gentle soul who was always up for a good laugh. He will be deeply missed.

Murray was a very loving and proud dad to Lee-Anne and warm-hearted father-in-law to Conor, whom he considered “top drawer”. He is survived by his loving mother, Lillian, and sisters Rheta (Mike) and Sheila. He enjoyed being an uncle to his nephews Jason (Nicole), Justin (April), James (Brian), Daniel (Kathleen), and Patrick. Murray is predeceased by his spouse, Sandra (Sandy) Hall, and his father, Elgin. He will be missed by friends, especially Bill and Suzi, Greg, and Maureen (former wife of Murray and mother of Lee-Anne)
