Paul Newman

With hearts filled with gratitude for a life well-lived, we announce the peaceful passing of Paul (Joe) Newman on Wednesday, January 24th, at the age of 80. Born in Oakville, Ontario to Orvel and Ruth Newman, Paul was the best friend and loving husband of the late Barbara (nee Benson). He was a dear father to Julie (Claudio Mascioli) and Rhea (Steve Dignan), and a beloved "Gramp" to Divina Rhea and Benson Alberto. Paul is survived by his life-long friends, Rob Sutherland and Derek Mason, and predeceased by his brothers, Gord and Dean Newman. He will be fondly remembered by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

 An entrepreneur from the age of 19, Paul's dedication to his business was matched only by his commitment to helping those in need. In recent years, he enjoyed gardening at his Orillia home, growing sunflowers and pumpkins for his grandchildren.
