McDONALD, PHILIP ANDREW (March 30, 1941 - April 19, 2014) It is with great sadness we announce the passing of a loving husband, caring father and awesome Pa. Married to his best friend Gail Marlene (nee: Hepinstall) for 44 years. Much loved father of Wendy (Warner Chalmers), Cheryl (Andy Rumohr) and Brian (Erin Noganosh). Super awesome Pa to Travis, Paige, Sydney, Kaelyn, William, Olivia and Pyper. Cherished by extended family Carol McDonald (the late Bernie) and their sons Scott (Kathy) and Jeff. Grandchildren Graydon, Kylie, Kailem, Emitt and Rory. Cousins Eugene and Janet, Dan and Theresa. Nephews Michael, Joe, Ian and Kevin. Fur family Maggie, Lexie and Louie. Former journeyman/lineman with Ontario Hydro. Not many of us get to live and do what we love. Philip did. To him there was nothing like the great outdoors and its beauty. Enjoying long walks and sharing his daily adventures with us. It was a great pleasure for Dad when people stopped by the cabin for a coffee and tall tales. Philip was not one for a grand fuss and we know that Gail's health would be his first concern.
