Phyllis Kehoe- nee Walters (October 14, 1932 – December 25, 2021)
Passed away peacefully at Spencer House Long Term Care Centre on Christmas Day, in her 90th year. Beloved wife for 67 years of Robert (Bob) Kehoe of Orillia. Beloved mother of Kellyann Hiltz and her husband Ted of Orillia, and the late Shawn Kehoe, and his wife, Deborah, also of Orillia.
Phyllis was a loving Grandma to Jennifer Hiltz-Kane (Harrison Kane) of Newmarket, Megan Hiltz of Barrie, Tyler Kehoe and Luke Kehoe both of Orillia.
Dear sister of Gerald Walters (Olive) of Orillia both predeceased, Elroy Walters (predeceased) and his wife Donna of Kitchener, William (Bill) Walters predeceased of Orillia and his wife Donna. Survived by her sister, Betty Hurley, of North Bay.
Phyllis will be lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends.
Phyllis was a kind, loving and giving individual who always was willing to lend a hand. She spent many years volunteering at Orillia Soldiers Memorial Hospital, and later in life enjoyed helping out at her grandchildrens’ elementary school. She was a loving Grandma who enjoyed baking, crafting and taking her Grandchildren on special outings where she always spoiled them.
Phyllis spent the last almost 6 years of her life at Spencer House. The family would like to thank all the staff on Willow Lane and most recently on Oak Lane for their amazing care.
Cremation will take place. There will be no funeral due to the Covid restrictions. Internment will be at St. Andrew’s – St. James’ Cemetery, 320 Coldwater Rd. W. Orillia.
