Robert "Bob" Edwin William Bursey

February 8, 1953 - September 22, 2024

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Bob Bursey on Sunday, September 22, at home in his 72nd year. He will be deeply missed by his wife Deborah of 51 years, and son Glen; predeceased by son Kirk (2021). 

Bob was born in Toronto in 1953, and moved to Barrie with his family in 1960. He was the second born of Marjorie Ann Wilmontt Tustin Bursey Dumont and Harry Edwin Bursey (predeceased). Loving brother to Steve (predeceased), Cathy Bursey, Bonnie Farrish (Mike, predeceased), Raymond (predeceased), Patty Ruttan (Brian), and Pam Umpleby (Lawrence). Bob is known for his business for over 30 years in the forklift industry of B&K Mobile Repairs. He will be missed by his many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. 

Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Bob's life will be held on Sunday, October 6, 2024 at the Moose Lodge, 6 Kitchener St, Orillia, from 1pm until 4pm.
