Sandra “Sandy” Lynn Simpson (nee Penley)

Sandra passed away suddenly with her family by her side at Georgian Bay General Hospital, Midland, on November 7, 2024, in her 80th year.

Daughter of Nora & Amos Penley (predeceased). Beloved wife of 63years to John James (Jim) Simpson. Loving mother of three daughters Cathy Simpson, Janet Fazackerley (Richard Chamberland), Patricia (Mark) Chamberland, and two Sons Jeff Simpson (Laura Howard) and Dennis Simpson.

Proud grandmother of 7, Jason (Anna), Chris (Shelly), Sarah (Jessica), Amy (Ryley), Jamie (Chris) Oliva (Tyler), Natanya (Joe). Great Grandmother of 13, Makayla (Tanner), Jimmy (Ashley), Amber (Rielly), Todd (Dannie) Max (Dan), Chloe (Cody), Abby, Valerine, Ryder, Emmett, Zoey, Charlotte, and Wesley. Great-Great Grandmother of 3, Haevyn, Bella, Mason

Sandra enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, on the farm with all her animals, milking cows & goats, going camping, most of all she loved spending time with Jim, her beloved, the love of her life. Sandra will be dearly missed by her family and friends. 

Arrangements have been entrusted with Mundell Funeral Home, 79 West Street North, Orillia. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Sandy’s Life will be held at a later date.
