Sandra Stella Marshall

It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of Sandra S. (Gnatiuk) Marshall on Jan. 30 at Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital in Orillia, ON after a brief battle with cancer. She was a daughter of the late Theresa and King MacLeod (stepdad) and grew up in Sydney River. She is survived by her loving husband, Robert; beloved daughter, Sheri (Rob) MacLellan of Tantallon, NS; precious grandchildren, Jenna and Logan MacLellan; stepsons, Matthew (Rajil) Marshall, and John (Megan) Marshall; siblings Gary (Janet) Gnatiuk, Sydney Forks, NS; Dianne (Brian) Shaheen, Panama City Beach, FL; Gwen (David) Farquhar, Timberlea, NS; David MacLeod, Kingston, ON; Kenneth (Sharon) MacLeod, Sydney River; as well as many nieces and nephews and loving Marshall in-laws. Sandra will be forever remembered for her kind and gentle nature and love of family. She will be deeply missed. Special thanks to the staff of Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital.
